Just a quick note on something God told me one time.

I asked him to tell me what he was like.

He told me that to understand him better that he wanted me to deeply think about this…

He said,

I made tickle spots on people on purpose,

now think about that.

Have you ever tickled a child? Did you know that the lord God of all time space and dimension, the one that hung on a cross to die for your sins, the one they made that impressive cathedral for?

He had to purposely design tickle spots when he designed man. That little giggle your kiddos make when they get tickled is designed.

What kind of mind designs tickle spots into humans? Think about that for very long while that will do you some good. Next time your getting too religious think about that.

Its fun to see the reaction in our minds when we think of this truth. This worlds dark and small ideas about who God is gleefully crashes in a heap upon this rock solid solid happy truth.

Its nice to see that kind of God playfully peeking out from behind the religious image of God the world creates in our mind. Watch how quickly the mind tries to go back to the old religious image but don’t let it, Make it obey the truth in this. Stare intently at the mind of deity revealed in the tickle me Elmo carefully designed into each of us. Soon you will see something real and wonderful.

I was thinking about how my mom died and she wasn’t here. God said to me something like “One who is grateful for yesterdays cake eats the cake again today although the cake is already gone. “- I had to think about that a few min before I got it but it was sweet.

Thinking backwards

When you believe God tells the truth, that you have a permanent home in heaven, that you will be there forever it can change how you see things. Let’s say you believe that. Think of yourself there now. Believe that you will be there or are there. Believe God tells the truth. Now look back at your life from that perspective. The end result of your faith in God. How big do your problems look from the end looking backwards. Compared with the end result the current problems do not seem so large.

If you think only about this life your problems seem large. It’s hard to have joy surrounded by problems. If you look backward from your final destination it’s easy to see your problems as small and temporary. ITS EASY TO HAVE JOY!

Since “the joy of the lord is your strength” it’s important to have it for your spirit. Thinking backwards let’s you have joy easier.

I felt out of sorts. The world around me felt both right and at the same time not right. I thought I would tell my wife that the world felt odd. Suddenly -I heard “If your world feels wrong or broken you take the blood of Christ, your faith, my words and you speak to your world and

YOU FIX IT!

I gave my life to set your world right! The only command I gave Adam and Eve was subdue the world. I have done my part, you do yours!

Every relationship with God includes this.

Abraham the “father of the faith” was called to move away from his people and walk by faith into the unknown.

All the disciples left their occupation to follow Jesus into the unknown.

The children of Israel left the familiarity of Egypt into the unfamiliarity of the desert.

We see in a relationship with God that everyone is called to walk away from the familiar and walk into the unknown following Gods lead by faith.

What day will Jesus return? If your alive in the tribulation you can know the exact date and mark it on your calendar.

There is a disturbing movement I see. There are groups of christians thinking that Jesus is coming sept 21st or the 22nd or the 23rd. Some are doing it because of the revelation sept 23rd sign or because of complicated math and spans of 7 or anniversaries of past dates. This is a dangerous trend. Trusting Christs words when it comes to doctrine or salvation is good. However some people trusting the words of Jesus say they can know the day or the hour when Jesus said “no man knows”. He specifically said the we would not know when our master returns.

Seasonal signs:

Remember the 4 blood moons falling on the 4 Jewish holy days? Or the big eclipse? I believe that these are seasonal signs like the leaves falling is a sign of the fall season. Saying that a certain sign or number sequence means you can know the exact date is against Christs specific words. He said he would come at a time we think not. Seeing these signs as a seasonal sign is the way to have no problems. Jesus said You know not what day your master will return. He did get upset that the pharisees did not recognize the season they were living in. If you say you know the day you are mistaken and Jesus himself says you are mistaken. Believing in a certain day can leave you disillusioned hurt and despondent. Jesus told you not to believe you will know the date when he will return in secret for his disciples. On Jesus return to the earth to reign however the angel in Daniel tells people how many days to wait after the stopping of the daily sacrifice. The return of Jesus to rule the earth with all his saints is seven years from the start of the 7 year tribulation. The 7 year tribulation starts the day of the seven year peace treaty between Israel and the anti-christ. Anyone can know the day of Jesus return to the earth to rule. The angel gives us how many days to wait. However you can NOT know the secret date Jesus returns for his own to keep us from the trial that comes to test the whole world.

Anyone alive in the tribulation that has passed have passed the marking dates the bible gives us can figure out the exact day Jesus steps on the earth at the end of the seven years. The bible teaches an unknowable date that is a catching away of Christs people IN THE CLOUDS. It also teaches in the book of Daniel a return date of Jesus you can mark on your calendar if you know the other dates it points out. In order to reconcile Jesus words and the book of Daniel there has to be a secret date and a date men in the tribulation can mark on their calendars.

Pre Trib, Mid Trib, Post trib? Here is the answer:

Common sense: Daniel says Jesus comes at the end of the 7 year tribulation. Every eye will see him, he comes with all his saints. The tribulation starts with the signing of the Israel / antichrist peace treaty and ends 7 years later. Also the angel tells us how long to wait until Jesus steps on the earth. He gives us the exact amount of days after the stopping of the sacrifice. So two markers make the last date of the tribulation known to anyone in it. Jesus comes and steps on the earth on a day anyone (in the tribulation) can circle on thier calendar. If he comes as a thief on a day no one can know not even him – then how is he to come in secret if its marked on a calendar. . The soulution comes when you realize the diciples said “when will you return for us”. To that Jesus said it was a secret. However when will he step foot on the earth? A day anyone can calculate to the exact day. A angel in daniel even gives the exact amount of days to give people hope. The only way to make this all fit is a secret day that is a suprise where he comes in the clouds for those trusting him. Then another day that is no secret where he steps on the earth and rules. He said he would keep us from the trial that would come to “test the whole world”. Like noah in the ark. Like lot escaping sodom. There are many examples but God takes the righteous out. Common sense, think it through. There can not be a day you can circle on a calendar and a secret suprise day and be only one return. One is in the clouds and one is where he steps on the earth. This lines up with ancient jewish wedding tradition. (share if you agree) This hope will purify you the bible says, but if your not sure how can you have hope.

Waiting to see if your prayer gets answered means you never really prayed the right way in the first place.

I prayed to get something My brother clint would really like for his birthday. I went in to a thrift store and saw a clay glazed marshall pottery cup that seemed to have a sort of special glow. I turned the cup to examine it and it had my brothers name “clint” written on it in blue. It was 0.78 cents. I bought it, but later thought there was no way he would like this cup really. I thought maybe my prayer wasn’t answered- Which for me is not normal. Anyway I sent a picture of the cup and the other items. My brother exclaimed he had had a cup like it he loved. Then he broke it and his friend Dean had made a special effort to replace that one for his birthday. He broke that cup as well. He was really happy to see the cup I had bought for him and said “how did you know”. The point is to keep your faith, receive it WHEN you pray like Jesus taught. That is a “righteous judgement”, to believe you all ready have it WHEN YOU pray means you wont be waiting to see if your prayer will be answered. Faith is certainty, not being wishy washy. we should not turn loose of what God and you have created by faith together. When you are not certain your not in faith. By judging it not all ready done your not actually praying. Thats not recieving ot when you prayed.

Waiting to see if your prayer was answered means you never really prayed right in the first place. 

Being confident you got it “when you prayed” means never having to “wait and see” if your going to get it, because you received it when you prayed.

Why God remains hidden to the world? Why does God hide? Where is God?

My suburban broke down in front of the whataburger a month or so back. I prayed and asked God to send someone that could explain what had gone wrong.

A nicegentleman driving a suburban stopped I wants even through praying, and showed me what is wrong.

He was a chief mechanic at the chevy place and said he had only owned suburbans all his life. He told me it was the fuel pump (which I had recently replaced). This was likely the very best person in the region or state to tell me what was wrong with this particular make and model of automobile.

He was late and couldn’t help me but now I was sure it was the fuel pump. I took a look at it and told God if I can’t fix it by myself please send someone who will help me. So then “Gary” a retired mechanic whom God had sent to me 4 times before to help with my car troubles helped me and had a tester for electricity I didn’t have. We found the short and took the fuel pump to auto zone for a warranty replacement. We then fixed it on the spot.

Later my son was with me to pick up the car. I told him the verse “it is Gods glory is to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings to find it out. (he has made us kings and priests)
I told my son that God hides things.

I told him God could show up and in one second there would be no more atheist, but he doesn’t. Why?

“thou art a god who hides himself” the bible says. I asked God why he hides himself, I believe the answer to that question is:

1. its Gods glory to hide a thing, that is make complicated things seamless. kind of like a good carpenter hides nails in some cases.

2. He is also humble so he doesn’t brag on himself.

3. The world is judged for sin and belong to another spiritual master until they legally can be bought out of that slavery.  Slaves do not have rights. The full price to obtain legal rights over people has been paid, but to find that out men have to humble themselves and look for God. If they do God promises that they will find them. 

4. God is opposed to the proud but gives (unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor) to the humble. This whole world is under judgement and belongs to the the “God of this world”. This god is the is the “king of pride”.

God is opposed to the proud. People can seek him and find him, but most do not.

I was explaining to my son that Gods glory is like this, to remain hidden. However my prayers and God’s responses let him “see” God today through Gods actions.

As I was doing this I said “look!, look!, because of the car in front of me had a license plate.

The license plate said “HS GLORY” -this happened just as I was telling him it was Gods glory to conceal a matter.

The answered prayers, and the license plate made a big impression on him. I have seen this sort of thing repeatedly for the last several years of my life, however I don’t tell everyone because they think your nuts. It still is amazing to me and makes me very happy. “I see knowledge of him in every place”

Why does God reveal himself to some and not others?

Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

Why can you lay out the facts and atheist can not understand them?

This assumes logic is the only thing at work here. It ignores what the bible teaches about spiritual control. The bible tells us that the whole world is under the sway of the “god of this world”. Its a spiritual control issue.

Why not lay out the facts on both sides and just examine them (without name calling, anger, or pride). I have tried it many times, carefully outlining my arguments for the existence of God and instead of a conversation have been met with name calling, twisted logic and open hatred. It’s not going to work to lay out and discuss facts and here is why.

1. the God of this world blinds minds -2 Corinthians 4:4

Under the control of their spiritual master, they will not be allowed to believe. The God of this world has legal rights to the world, and until the legal claims are terminated they remain slave and are not able to think anything they want to think, or believe anything they want to believe.
Slaves do not have rights. – Romans 6:16

2. No one comes to the son unless the father draws him John 6:44

God is apposed to the proud, but gives (unmerited, undeserved, unearned ) favor to the humble. God is actively opposed tho the world at large because he opposes the proud. I bet 99.999% of atheist think christians are just ignorant morons, even as they pretend to hear there side.
If your an atheist your most likely thinking that of me right now. For atheist this means they are being actively opposed by God as they listen to any facts. So it just doesn’t work. There pride keeps them out. Pride also keeps them from being objective. God promises though that if they look for God they will find him. So the door is left open. Pride though keeps the door shut.

3. Deep darkness covers the earth, it is a spiritual darkness.
Isaiah 9:2

4. The spirit the world has as “truth” is not God who is actual “truth”. The world can not receive truth. The spirit they live under, that they identify as truth is not “truth” at all but an imposter.

Its spiritual control that keeps men blinded, not logic or facts.

5. No matter what facts you present or evidence you gather or argument you make, the world will not believe it- and usually just resort to name calling rather than any sort of logical argument.

” they will not be persuaded, even if someone were to rise from the dead.” Luke 16:31

The world can not accept truth. The spirit that legally rules over them is pretending to be the spirit of truth, and people that are legally his property are not allowed to believe anything other than what he says is truth.

Slaves do not have rights

Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. -romans 6:16

When you obey sin (the god of this world) it is your last free act.
You then are no longer able to make free will choices, but become a slave of your new legal spiritual master. He will not just let you think what you want to think, or believe what you wan tot believe or do what you want to do. Until the legal debt is paid to buy you out of slavery, you remain a slave.

God has paid to have the legal rights of the “God of this world” terminated and anyone who looks for God will find him, however pride keeps most of them from looking objectively. So they never get out of prison and they remain slaves.
These people remain the property of the “fake imposter spirit of truth” and never find the actual spirit of truth.

He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

Hidden meaning in a word? The heavens declare the glory (weight) of God…

Psalms 147:4 He counts the stars and assigns each a name.” In one translation it is nicknames or “pet names”.
HE is calling each individual star a “name.” He is saying they are something.
The Strong’s concordance number for this word “names” in Psalms 147:4 is H8034-
In looking up the definitions of H8034-
I found in this word is related to Shem as in shem the son of Noah.
I then googled the meaning of the name “Shem” in Hebrew. -then found.
“The same as H8034; (name) name; Shem, a son of Noah (often including his posterity): – Sem, Shem.Shem, a son of Noah. ” So in looking up the meaning of shem I found:
—-The word Shem means “glory” and “fame”. This relates to “Glory” or “fame” as in “the heavens (stars) declare the “glory” (the Shem) of God.” or it might be said the heavens declare the “fame” of God. It might be thought of as God saying the stars are related to his fame or glory. He is naming them, telling us what they are.
He is calling them something.

When God calls a thing a name it is significant, as when he changed Abraham’s name to reflect his being “the father of many nations.”

This is why I was wondering what the word translated “names” meant in the Hebrew.

In the translation of Revelation 19:16
you can see the word “shem” used like this:

“And on his robe and on his thigh He has His SHEM written:
KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Jesus has his “fame” or “shem” (who he is, his glory) written on his thigh.

God has his glory or fame (shem) declared in the heavens (the stars.)
God’s fame (or shem) is declared by the stars.

He is calling them names-
names means “fame” or “glory” -his shem.
Does this make any sense?

ideology=skin color? (is it OK to hate people who believe differently than you do?)

Differences come for the most part because of the data we have seen in our life and believed or disbelieved. If I had the same data you had received I would likely have the same beliefs and views you do and vice versa. Just because people believe differently doesn’t necessarily mean they are a moron, or evil. The idea that if you are not like me (in beliefs, views, skin color, hair color, bank accounts) is the basis of prejudice. I believe that anyone who thinks that everyone should be the same way is as bad as a Klansman, Hitler or anyone else like that. God lets everyone have freedom, love does not demand its own way. God colors the world with diversity. 

Who wants all the people to have the same beliefs and political views? Tyrants do, like Hitler, chairman mao, those guys.

If I find myself hating people because they vote for Hillary or Trump, then I am taking a step towards being a tyrant. I hate them because they are not like me. this is the basis of racism. Just because I make my determination of a person because of their political views instead of skin color does not make me any less prejudice. They are not like me so I hate them. In this case you are just trading the basis of hate from skin color to ideology.

Hitler would burn all the books that did not fit his ideology and killed millions because they were not his “chosen” race. The idea was to get rid of every race not like his own, and to get rid of all the ideas that were not like his. He believed his ideals and his race was superior and all he wanted to get rid of everything not like him.

It’s really important to love everyone and let them believe what they want. God allows it, why wont you? I did not believe the same things now as I did 10 years ago. We are all in transition and change. To not like people because they do not share your beliefs, customs, political views or skin color is going toward evil and away from love This is easily seen when it comes to skin color, but a little harder to see when its political views. To hate or dislike someone because they do not think like you is similar to not accepting someone because of their skin color or nationality. That is my take on it, vote for Gary Johnson , Hillary, Trump or what ever, Personal freedom is the American idea.
Believe in God, Allah, Buddha or the spaghetti monster, Be rich, poor, be whatever color skin. Be diverse, have different views. Whatever people believe Christians owe all people love.

Having individual freedom is the heart of democracy and the American ideal just as no freedom, and conformity is the ideal of societies run by tyrants and dictators.

PRAYER ANSWERS FOR TODAY:

so I replaced a fuel pump about a year ago. I pulled up to a light at the Whataburger in Marshal. The Chevy suburban died right then. I knew I had gas in the tank, or I thought I did. Well my two oldest kids were with me and we pushed the car off the road right in front of the Whataburger by the mall. My kids go to school right next to the restaurant, and I was taking them back to school. So its good I broke down so close to school. They walk the one min walk back and are not late. I wonder if I could be out of gas and the gage is wrong. I decide to walk a mile to get a gas can and gas. I walk back and put the gas in the tank but it wont start. I pray and ask that God would make it known to me what is wrong with the truck, Right then a nice gentleman pulls over. It turns out he is one of the senior mechanics at the local ]Chevy dealership and has worked on Chevys for about 30 years. He has owned mostly suburbans himself. He helps me diagnose the problem. It is the fuel pump. I had just prayed for Gods help to diagnose the problem and a min later possibly the most qualified person in a 200 mile radius or more stopped and diagnosed it. Coincidence? Wait, there is more!. So I bought the fuel pump at Autozone. its covered under lifetime warranty. My wonderful friend and neighbor Patsy Raska helps me out by giving my kids a ride home and lets me use her car to get the fuel pump. I have my 18 year old son come with me to help. I put the pump in and as I am about to start the car, I pray that if I didn’t install it right that God will send me some help. I try to start the car, it doesn’t start. Just then Gary, pulls up to me and says “having trouble?”. Gary has spent most of his working life as a mechanic and has helped two other times I have prayed for help. He helps me track down the wiring and we find a dead wire. He had a circuit tester and the tools and knowledge I did not have. I had just prayed about this. Coincidence? Wait there is more. I then get the car started thanks to Gary. I am driving home with my son Ben and I tell him he saw God at work. I tell him the verse that says “surley thou art a God who hides himself”-Isiah,
then the one about moses, “seeing him who is unseen Moses braved the Pharaohs wrath.”
I explain to him that because moses was sure God was with him, by the things moses experienced. He was brave because he knew God was real. I tell Ben the verse, “it is the GLORY of God to hide or conceal a matter but the GLORY of kings to find it out”. Then I tell him the bible says that God has made us “kings and Priests”. I tell him God is playing hide and seek, but when you “SEE” him it’s quite a amazing thing since if God wants to play hide and seek you can bet he is good at it. So then as we are driving home we see the car in front of us, it has a vanity plate that says “HS GLORY”. Ben laughs.

I read a quote attributed to Einstein. “coincidence is the disguise of God”. I know many people do not believe in God, but I see him all the time. He is always moving in my life, I am always talking to him, and he answers my questions. Like I asked him why a lot of other people never see him. I know why. I can tell you if your interested. God is the best thing about my life and he is worth playing hide and seek with, He will let you find him if you play.
