Too many bad things happening in the world? How the worlds woes can lead us to purity instead of dispair.

We see many more troubles in the world thanks to instant news. The sorrow of the world leads to death.
As christians our hope can be in Christ so we don’t need to get worried or depressed. We see much more evil everyday than the people that came before us. 
All this bad news is a “cast all your cares on him” situation. You can not carry the sorrow of the whole world, and we get a lot of it dumped on us. 

If we let it get to us in can work “death” in our life. I believe it can cause sickness in us. 

If you set yourself up in a room and view and think only about bad things you might soon be ill. “we see all these things” happening and OBEY the scriptures we “look up” in hope, knowing our redemption is nigh. Instead of death the things we see lead us to hope and hope leads us to purity. 
“He that has this hope in himself purifies himself as he is pure”. Is your hope in this world and this nation or with Jesus? 
Is your hope more real than the headlines?
If so you will avoid the “death” this verse speaks about. 

For godly grief produces a repentance not to be regretted and leading to salvation, but worldly grief produces death.
