When you criticize and condemn others you are showing more about what you are, not necessarily what they are.

When you criticize and condemn others you are showing more about what you are, not necessarily what they are. Since your heart colors everything you see, (like sunglasses) the evil in your heart colors your view of everything and you see evil in others. (even if it does not actually exist.) Then you speak about it showing what is really in your heart. (Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks) When you criticize and condemn others you are showing more about what you are, not what they are. Love overlooks offenses, it’s our royal commandment from love himself. There is only one judge of men and only a completely pure person can give a truly pure judgement. Someone tainted with evil will give a tainted judgement. Rather than judge people for their faults we should pray for them and trust all judgement to Jesus, whom God has appointed as the judge of all things. When we criticize people we poison ourselves as love takes a back seat. (I am speaking about hurtful speech here both inside and outside of yourself.) Speech made every thing we see and do not see. Words are powerful and should be treated with great caution. (both what we say inside of our self and outside) When mixed with belief words can accomplish anything. God holds us accountable for every single one. When words are mixed with belief they have life. Only our connection with the vine (Jesus, gods word) through trust gives us the ability to think and speak correctly. When we stop “walking by faith” it is like unplugging the fan from the wall. the cool air stops and things are stale. Since only God is good and our connection to God is Jesus and our connection to Jesus is through faith – then when faith is not active we disconnect from good. Our thoughts come from ourselves , evil then comes in and takes root and grows.
