The two truths

23 01 2008

Jesus said that a witness to him was in the world but that the world did not recognize him. He is the spirit of truth. There is another spirit of “truth” that is not truth at all. They even feel different. God is truth. The devil is called the God of this world. There are then two “truths.”

The devil wants to reign by getting people to give him the weight of truth. There is a real spirit of truth and it is different from the spirit of “truth” that rules the world. The fake truth comes behind silly ideas like “evolution” to give them weight. He tries to convince you with spiritual weight or force. For instance, if someone told you you would never amount to something that may be lodged in your heart. It may be backed up by a feeling. It should be replaced by what faith in what God says “I am God’s workmanship (in the Greek workmanship says “poem”) created in Christ Jesus for good works,” and “I am accepted in the beloved.” Give weight to that by faith to the word despite the past or what you feel like. To believe what any other thought says about you is to give that the weight of “truth”. You have to listen to him and give weight to HIS words. Jesus said if you continue in my words you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. Lies bind, truth sets free. Trusting Christ’s words puts you in his kingdom and takes you out of the devils. Jesus said be careful how you hear because with the same measure that you hear will be measured back to you. HE meets our needs according to his riches in glory (weight) through Christ Jesus. The anointed word of God mixed with faith.

The devil is all around you in thoughts, pictures, feelings (or spirit). The word needs to be your shielding and place of truth between you and thoughts that come in from the atmosphere. In Peter it says “an idle mind is a devils workshop.” Keeping you mind occupied keeps him out. Meditating is good for this which in the Hebrew means “chew the cud”. Another is making melody in your heart to the Lord.

The master faith, the one that opens the door to God’s goodness is believing in what Jesus did on the cross. Everything stems from that truth.

You need to spirit of truth in you. Ask God.

Luke 11:1-13 “How much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Once you ask you have done your part, he will do his part. No other validation is necessary. You have done your part, he will do his part. Every other thought that would try to talk you out of it is from the kingdom of this world. You need faith like a little child to get in Jesus said. Once you ask don’t look for any evidence other than what the word said. He will give it to you. You take it then before you see evidence.

devil you can’t handle the truth

Christianity in a nutshell my response to tom cruises video on scientology

tom cruise and jesus and god

here is a link to the video

I saw a post where Tom cruises video had briefly appeared on you tube. The powers that be over there yanked it off you tube but once something is let go on the web its out there.

Anyway in the comment section I put a comment on what Christianity is to me since most people were likening Christianity to Scientology. So here is my “Christianity in a nutshell.

  1. Wow,
I just thought I would publish the Christian view here since it was brought up.
I am one of those Christian nut jobs but with us we trust Christ to help us and its a real power that makes us free from our old man. By trusting Christ we can be good but not by ourselves. We believe that Gods words formed everything and that in order to fix things God put his word back into the mix. He also stepped in as a person and put the sins of the world on Christ and that allows us to be free from satans control as we trust in Christ. Christ never did anything wrong but was treated as tho he did so that legally we who are Christians can be treated as though we never did anything wrong even though we did everything wrong (if you broke one law you broke them all the bible says). Christ legally beat this worlds system. Since he was treated unjustly God got back the rights to people when they put there trust in Jesus and become one with him in spirit. His spirit who has legal rights not to be controlled by the current spiritual government can be passed on to us as we trust and we take on a new spiritual boss, a new kingdom. This kingdom is supposed to to have love as the cardinal law. And the Bible says God is love. The other kingdom is based on self and selfishness and is characterized by uncontrollable desires that sometimes defy logic.
Jesus said very few find the way to life though. Most of you reading this think its crazy just like your spiritual boss wants you to think. Anyway I got as much right to have my say here as anyone else so why not.
read romans 6 7 and 8 for the nutshell of Christianity.

January 16, 2008 at 4:01 pm Oh ya I forgot, since it was the flesh of man that betrayed God in the garden, God judged sin in the flesh. HE then put Jesus in the disguise of sinful flesh, but never sinned in the flesh. The current spiritual governor treated Christs flesh as though it had sinned. However since Christs flesh had not sinned now the devil was in the wrong big time. He lost his legal rights over everyone who trusts in Christ and becomes one with him in spirit. We then trust in Christ and this power legally frees us from spiritual bondage to the current spiritual government.

Ephesians 2:1-3 (Amplified Bible)
1 AND YOU [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins

2 In which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God].

3 Among these we as well as you once lived and conducted ourselves in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by our corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [our cravings dictated by our senses and our dark imaginings]. We were then by nature children of [God’s] wrath and heirs of [His] indignation, like the rest of mankind.
